Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall stars in the Signature Theatre revival of Will Eno's Thom Pain (based on nothing) October 23–November 25 on The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center. The Debate Society's Oliver Butler (The Amateurs) directs the monologue about a man trying to save his own life.

The revival is the first Legacy production since Eno completed his five-year residency at the Signature. His time at the Off-Broadway theatre included productions of his play Title and Deed and the world premieres of The Open House and Wakey, Wakey.

After debuting in London, Thom Pain (based on nothing) premiered Off-Broadway in 2005 starring James Urbaniak, with direction by Hal Brooks.
