Performances begin January 12 at Roundabout Theatre for Fiasco Theater’s staging of the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical Merrily We Roll Along. Helmed by Fiasco's co-artistic director Noah Brody, the production incorporates additional material lifted from George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's 1934 play that inspired the musical.
Much like Fiasco's Into the Woods (presented by Roundabout in 2015), the company's Merrily We Roll Along features a small ensemble cast made up of Manu Narayan, Brittany Bradford, Jessie Austrian, Ben Steinfeld, Paul L. Coffey, and Emily Young.
The production features choreography by Lorin Latarro, music direction and orchestrations by Alexander Gemignani, sets by Derek McLane, costumes by Paloma Young, lighting design by Christopher Akerlind, and sound design by Peter Hylenski.
Performances of Merrily We Roll Along are scheduled through April 7 in Roundabout's Laura Pels Theater. Opening night is February 19.
