A new music video from Tectonic Theater Project and The Matthew Shepard Foundation features Tony winners Harvey Fierstein, Annaleigh Ashford, Billy Porter, and Mary-Louise Parker, along with The Boys in the Band stars Zachary Quinto and Matt Bomer, Bridget Moynahan, Torch Song-bound Michael Urie, and Michael Benjamin Washington. Judy and Dennis Shepard and Laramie Project director-playwright Moisés Kaufman appear as well. Watch the PSA above.

The video, directed and conceived by Sue Kramer, is accompanied with a new original song "Love is Love," written by Andy Hollander and Dana Parish. All proceeds from the track, now available on iTunes, benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation.

This PSA serves as the launch of the #EraseHate campaign, which honors the 20th anniversary of the murder of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man in Laramie, Wyoming. Tectonic Theater Project and The Mattew Shepard foundation will present Laramie: A Legacy, a benefit evening set to include a special reading of The Laramie Project in New York City September 24.

The original production of The Laramie Project, which had its world premiere in 2000, was developed through interviews with the people of Laramie, conducted by members of Tectonic's acting company who later portrayed their subjects. The play went on to be produced by educational, amateur, and professional theatres worldwide, becoming a powerful and influential document of homophobia and its effects. Laramie: A Legacy is meant to honor the progress made over the last two decades.

The upcoming benefit reading is set to star Parker, Porter, and Neil Patrick Harris, appearing alongside original Laramie Project company members Stephen Belber, Amanda Gronich, Mercedes Herrero, Andy Paris, Greg Pierotti, Barbara Pitts McAdams and Kelli Simpkins. Moisés Kaufman will direct.

Tickets to Laramie: A Legacy, along with a toolkit with resources for getting involved with the #ErasteHate campaign, are available at LaramieALegacy.org.
