Lin-Manuel Miranda will make his debut in Disney's animated comedy-adventure series DuckTales next month, according to Deadline. The Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton creator will voice the character of Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, the scientist duck also known as Gizmoduck.
The episode featuring Miranda will air May 11 on Disney Channel as part of the network's first-ever "Duck Week."
The Emmy-nominated DuckTales chronicles the high-flying adventures of wealthy Scrooge McDuck and his grandnephews.
Miranda will soon be seen on the big screen in Mary Poppins Returns. The Rob Marshall-helmed movie musical, which stars Emily Blunt as the beloved nanny, picks up 25 years after the original film. The actor, writer, and composer is also in final negotiations to star in the adaptation of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials for BBC One and Bad Wolf TV.
