The performer will first head to the venue July 23 in the ten-year reunion concert for MTV’s Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods. Hurlbert was the runner-up on the 2008 reality competition and went on to make her Broadway debut in the ensemble of the musical.

Her additional credits include the national tour of Little Women and Off-Broadway’s Nobody Loves You and A Taste of Things to Come.

The show, directed by David Alpert, musically directed by Steven Jamail, and produced by Jen Sandler, will include original works and beloved tunes, as well as tales from her career.

“Elle’s indefatigable. She never takes no for an answer,” Hurlbert told Playbill as she reflected on competing to play Elle Woods in Legally Blonde ten years ago (she’d later play the role regionally). “As a performer, that’s the number one thing you have to get used to...and she doesn’t care if she makes a fool of herself along the way. She’s not afraid to show that she’s learning. I think it took me a long time to really absorb that Elle message, but I definitely embody it now.”
