The June 15 #Ham4Ham impromptu concert on the steps of Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre where Hamilton is playing, was turned over to actress Andréa Burns, who sang an a capella rendition of “What I Did for Love” from A Chorus Line as a salute to the victims of the June 12 mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, FL.
In addition, Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda asked fans to donate to a fund suggested by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Miranda said the fund, which can be found here, goes to aid the families of the shooting victims.
