News Kristin Chenoweth Delivers Love Letter to Broadway Starting Tonight Her concert series bows at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

Tony-winning Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth opens a two-week concert stand at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre November 2. My Love Letter to Broadway is scheduled to run through November 13.

According to production notes, Chenoweth will perform “a handpicked selection of musical theatre favorites, including songs from her [new] album The Art of Elegance, her first album of American Songbook classics. An intimate evening of romance, glamour and laughter, this must-see performance will remind you why you first fell head-over-heels for Broadway… and its most enchanting star!”

Chenoweth issued the following statement: “I consider myself incredibly grateful to be joining the growing list of women who have brought their own concert to Broadway. I hope to honor this legacy, entertain the audience, and celebrate the fulfillment of a life-long dream. My engagement at the Lunt-Fontanne is my love letter, intended to share with the world where my true love lies... Broadway.”

Chenoweth won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in the 1999 revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and created the role of Glinda in Wicked (Tony nomination). Other Broadway performances include On the Twentieth Century (Tony nomination), The Apple Tree, Steel Pier, and Promises, Promises.
