Two-time Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin will join opera stars Nathan Gunn and Susan Graham for Lyric Opera of Chicago’s March 10 concert celebrating the 100th birthday of West Side Story and On the Town composer Leonard Bernstein.

Celebrating 100 Years of Bernstein will begin with a complete performance of Bernstein’s 1951 one-act opera about disillusioned suburban newlyweds, Trouble in Tahiti, which will feature Graham and Gunn as Sam and Dinah, with Diana Newman, Josh Lovell, and Emmett O’Hanlon as the Jazz Trio who act as a Greek chorus. They will be backed by the Lyric Opera Orchestra under the baton of David Chase.

The second half of the evening will feature Hello, Dolly! Tony nominee Baldwin and a host of other artists who will perform selections from West Side Story, Wonderful Town, Candide, White House Cantata, and Peter Pan.
