The return engagement of Tiny Beautiful Things opened at The Public Theater October 2 with Nia Vardalos reprising her starring role. Based on the book by Cheryl Strayed, the play is adapted for the stage by Vardalos and co-conceived by Marshall Heyman, Tony-winning director Thomas Kail, and Vardalos.

Tiny Beautiful Things debuted at the Public Theater Off-Broadway in 2016 in a sold-out run starring Vardalos. The Oscar nominee plays Sugar, an online dating columnist who draws from her own life to help thousands of readers navigate life, love, grief, and forgiveness.
