Rita Moreno brought more than a touch of theatricality to her May 7 commencement address at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she received an honorary doctor of music degree.

The Tony, Oscar, Grammy and Emmy winner offered a selection from Terrence McNally's award-winning Master Class (the actress previously played opera diva Maria Callas), and Moreno also delivered a portion of her commencement in rap, a decision, she said, influenced by Lin-Manuel Miranda's Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton.

"Mr. Hamilton that brought the rhyme to mind," Moreno rapped. "Damn, I've seen that play three time. Burned in my mind. Lin caused this crime of mine. So I read him his Miranda rights."
