Jack Thorne, John Tiffany, and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child officially opened at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway April 22.

The production, directed by Tiffany, is led by members of the original U.K. cast: Jamie Parker (The History Boys) as Harry Potter, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger, Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley, Poppy Miller as Ginny Weasley, Sam Clemmett as Albus Potter, Alex Price as Draco Malfoy, and Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy.

The story follows Harry Potter as an adult, now with a family and a high position in the Wizarding World government. It is his son, Albus Potter's first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and having one of the most famous wizards as your father comes with a price. Dark secrets hidden in the shadows affect Albus and the entire Potter family.
