Tony winner Beth Leavel, Michael Riedel, and more celebrated the Clive Barnes Awards at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center February 11. Named in honor of the late theatre critic known for championing the work of his colleagues, the Clive Barnes Awards recognize the extraordinary work of young professionals in the fields of acting and dance.
Actor Edmund Donovan (Lewiston/Clarkston) and Zoey Anderson (Parsons Dance) received the awards for theatre and dance, respectively. In addition to the award, the winners received a cash prize of $5,000.

The Clive Barnes Foundation was formed in 2009, in honor of theatre critic Barnes, to create annual awards giving recognition, encouragement, and financial support to two talented young professionals.
