The musical adaptation of the cult 1988 film Heathers—which itself became a cult phenomenon among fans who call themselves "Corn Nuts"—returns to New York for one-night only at Feinstein's/54 Below March 26. The cast will feature both alumni from the Off-Broadway premiere and starry new faces.
Among those joining original cast members Dave Thomas Brown, Charissa Hogeland, Dustin Sullivan, and Evan Todd will be comedian and writer-producer Megan Amram (NBC's The Good Place), recording artist Ingrid Michaelson (who made her Broadway debut last year in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812), Tony nominee Will Chase (Nashville, Something Rotten!) and the New York-based drag trio Stephanie's Child (consisting of Jan Sport, Lagoona Bloo, and Rosé).
Rounding out the company are Jenny Ashman, Allison Bailey, Dan DeLuca, LaToya Edwards, Matt Da Silva, and Monica Tulia Ramirez.
The concert, directed by Rachel Flynn, will be performed at 7 and 9:30 PM. Both performances are sold out, but contact (646) 476-3551 to inquire about the waitlist.
54 Sings Heathers is part of Feinstein’s/54 Below’s Musicals in Concert series, which also includes Baby (March 18) and Nunsense (March 19).
