Echo Theater Collective will open its 2017 season with EchoHam: A Hamilton Fan Sing-Along, as part of its community events series, February 19, the day before President’s Day, at Outta Space in Berwyn, Illinois.

The event, organized by artistic director Maui Jones and artistic associate Anjali Karia, invites Hamilton fans to sing, rock out, and celebrate the hit musical written by Lin Manuel-Miranda.

The pair led a similar event in August 2016, featuring lead performers and lyrics on the screen, allowing participants to join in the festivities.

There will be two sing-alongs. The first, Ham4Fam, begins at 2 PM and is a family-friendly, clean, two-hour version of the musical featuring younger performers. The second will begin at 7 PM and is open to all. It will feature a cosplay contest and a raffle of Hamilton-themed items. Children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult.

Entry to EchoHam is first come, first serve with a suggested donation of $15 for an individual and $40 for a family of four. Outtaspace is located at 6840 32nd Street in Berwyn, Illinois. For more information, visit EchoTheaterCollective.org or Facebook.com/EchoTheaterCollective.
