The National Dance Institute celebrated Jerome Robbins’ 100th birthday with Upper West Side Story: A Celebration of Jerome Robbins May 21. Moderated by New York City Ballet principal dancer Adrian Danchig-Waring, the evening took guests on a journey of Robbins’ most iconic works over the years. The benefit, conceived and directed by Jacques along with New York City Ballet principal dancer Daniel Ulbricht, honored the prolific choreographer with an intimate evening of music and dance.
Proceeds from the performance will support the National Dance Institute’s arts education programming.
