Gloria: A Life, a new play by Emily Mann which opened Off-Broadway October 18, will now continue at the Daryl Roth Theatre through March 31, 2019. Starring Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winner Christine Lahti in the title role, the new work celebrates the life and enduring legacy of writer, organizer, and activist Gloria Steinem.
Gloria: A Life is directed by Diane Paulus and features an all-female creative and producing team of Jenna Segal, Elizabeth Armstrong, Sally Horchow, Janet Kagen, and Alix L.L. Ritchie, led by Tony winner Daryl Roth.

The first act of the play focuses on Steinem's personal life and activism, and the second serves as a "Talking Circle," in which the audience is invited to carry the themes of the play into a conversation of their own.
The cast of Gloria: A Life is completed by Joanna Glushak, Fedna Jacquet, Francesca Fernandez McKenzie, Patrena Murray, DeLanna Studi, Liz Wisan, and Brittany K. Allen.
The production features scenic design by Amy Rubin, costume design by Jessica Jahn, lighting design by Jeanette Yew, sound design by Robert Kaplowitz and Andrea Allmond, and projection design by Elaine J. McCarthy.
Performances began October 2.
