The New York City supper club Feinstein’s/54 Below has booked New Year’s Eve shows that look to Broadway’s past and future. Lee Roy Reams and Caissie Levy will both do separate shows that night.
The 7 PM show will feature Broadway veteran Lee Roy Reams singing songs and telling stories from throughout his Broadway career, which began in 1966 with the original production of Sweet Charity,
Reams is also scheduled to appear at the club October 6–7 in a salute to the musical 42nd Street, in which he appeared for eight years on Broadway.

Reams’ Broadway résumé also includes original productions of Applause, Lorelei, La Cage aux Folles, Beauty and the Beast, and The Producers. Reams appeared in the 1978 revival of Hello, Dolly!, and has directed productions of the musical around the U.S. He even played the title role in drag in a Florida staging.
Tickets for Reams’ 7 PM show, priced at $65 to $125, plus a $25 food/drink minimum, go on sale to Club 54 members at noon October 9. Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon October 12.
The 11 PM show, which will continue through midnight and into 2018, will feature Caissie Levy, who is scheduled to create the role of Elsa in the forthcoming Broadway musical adaptation of Disney’s Frozen.
Levy played Fantine in the 2014 Broadway revival of Les Misérables, created the role of Molly in the musical Ghost, and played Sheila in the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair. Off-Broadway, she starred as Patti Davis and Julie Nixon in the world premiere of Michael John LaChiusa’s First Daughter Suite at The Public Theater.
Frozen is scheduled to begin Broadway previews February 22, 2018, and open March 22 at the St. James Theatre.
Tickets for Levy’s 11 PM show, priced at $325 to $495 (including dinner and open bar), also go on sale to Club 54 members at noon October 9. Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon October 12.
