News Family-Friendly Croaker Musical to Debut Off-Broadway The new show offers a fantastical twist on The Princess and the Frog fairy tale.

Croaker, the new family musical by Jason Marks and Debra Clinton, will make its Off-Broadway debut July 29 at SoHo Rep’s Walkerspace Theatre and run for four performances.

Directed by Eric Mark Olson, the show will play through July 31. The cast is led by Maggie Solimine is playing Princess Acrimonia, Salvatore Vieira as Croaker with Laura Stracko Franks as Queen Helene and Paul Thomas Ryan as King Arnold.

The Off-Broadway cast also features Amanda Berkson, Olivia Berkson, Leana Boroson, Aniyah Colbert, Tanya DeLeón, Isabella Dow, Emmitt Doyle, Jack Eagle Finegan, Kathryn Fugazy, Vincent Hale, Meredith Heller, Richard Lisenby, Brian McFarland, Emma McNulty, Brittany Roche, Phoebe Rothschild, Ona Vicente and Arianna Zayas.

The creative team is made up of musical directors Andrew David Sotomayor and Jenna Mee Dosch and choreographer Kimberly Schafer.

Croaker has been staged across the U.S. It tells the story of a princess who befriends a frog who was formerly a prince — the consequence of a curse placed upon him by her mother, the evil Queen Helene. For more information visit Croakerthemusical.com.
