Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin and Nigel Havers are to return to the London Palladium to headline Dick Whittington. This year’s pantomime will begin performances December 9 prior to an official opening December 13. The presentation will run through January 14, 2018. All three appeared in last year's Cinderella.

Clary, who will play Spirit of the Bells, played Dandini in Cinderella.  He made his TV debut in 1989 with ITV quiz show Trick or Treat and Channel 4’s Sticky Moments. He is a best-selling author, a regular panelist on Radio 4’s Just a Minute, and toured his one man show The Joy of Mincing last year.

Zerdin, who will play Idle Jack, was Buttons in last year’s Cinderella. The stage ventriloquist won America’s Got Talent in 2015, which was followed by his own residency at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. In the U.K., he has appeared on The Royal Variety Performance three times and was seen on Michael McIntyre’s Big Christmas Show.

Havers, who will play Captain Nigel, took on the role of Lord Chamberlain in last year’s Cinderella. His films include Chariots of Fire, Passage to India, Empire of The Sun, Don’t Wait Up, and Man Child.  More recently, his credits include Coronation Street, Downton Abbey, the BBC4 series The Life of Rock, Stop/Start, and Benidorm. In the West End, he has been seen in Art and The Importance of Being Earnest.
