Dear Evan Hansen—Deluxe Album, featuring the original Broadway cast recording plus cut songs from the Tony-winning musical and more, is released digitally November 2 via Atlantic Records. A physical release will follow.
In addition to the Tony-winning score performed by original cast members (including Tony winners Ben Platt and Rachel Bay Jones), the deluxe version includes Katy Perry's rendition of the musical's “Waving Through a Window,” plus a recording of "Part of Me," the precursor to "You Will Be Found," performed by the current Broadway company. The new recording is celebrated with a YouTube digital listening party November 2 at midnight, with special messages from the cast, creative team, and commentary on all new recordings from Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Alex Lacamoire, plus the premiere of Perry's “Waving Through a Window.”
The current Broadway cast includes Taylor Trensch as Evan Hansen, Lisa Brescia as Heidi Hansen, Jennifer Laura Thompson as Cynthia Murphy, Alex Boniello as Connor Murphy, Michael Park as Larry Murphy, Mallory Bechtel as Zoe Murphy, Sky Lakota-Lynch as Jared Kleinman, and Phoenix Best as Alana Beck. Michel Lee Brown plays the title role at select performances.

Dear Evan Hansen, which continues its acclaimed Broadway run at the Music Box Theatre, features a score by the Tony- and Oscar-winning songwriting team of Pasek and Paul (Dogfight, A Christmas Story), a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson (Masters of Sex), choreography by Danny Mefford (Fun Home), and direction by multiple Tony nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal, If/Then).
