News D'Abruzzo, Shor, Cariani, Day and Molina Set for Cape Cod Theatre Project Evie's Waltz, Reality!, Last Gas and Nocturama are the four works presented by the Cape Cod Theatre Project, which begins its 2008 summer season July 10.

Kicking off the summer season is the Carter W. Lewis comedy Evie's Waltz – "a riveting thriller about a troubled teen who makes his parents answer for the sins of their generation" – running July 10-12.

Loretta Greco directs the work that stars Johanna Day (Peter and Jerry), Liz Morton (Sake with the Haiku Geisha) and Tom Riis Farrell (The Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island).

Cape Cod Theatre Project's first new musical, Reality! – with a book by Itamar Moses, lyrics by Gaby Alter and Moses and music by Gaby Alter – will run July 17-19.

Michelle Tattenbaum directs the "irreverent parody of the reality behind reality television shows" that features Tony nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q), Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd), Colin Hanlon (Rent), Pearl Sun (Walmartopia), Graham Stevens, Caroline Tamas (Morning Star), Mary Faber (Avenue Q), Jason Michael Snow (Saved) and Kevin Reed (The Visit).

Andrew Polk will direct Last Gas, the Cape Cod Theatre Project commission from Tony nominee John Cariani (Fiddler on the Roof; Almost, Maine), which runs July 24-26. Justin Hagan (Almost, Maine), Miriam Shor (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Jordan Gelber (Avenue Q), Ed Hyland (Festen), Mycah Hogan (Crimes of the Heart) and Colleen Quinlan (From Up Here) star in Cariani's "hapless story of a father, a son, and the women who love them in a gas station in northernmost Maine."

The final offering will be Annie Baker's Nocturama, where "race, sex, video games, a dead poet and hidden chocolate all intertwine." Hal Brooks (No Child…) will direct the play, which runs July 31-Aug. 2.

Nocturama features Michael Chernus (Hunting and Gathering), Quincy Tyler Bernstine (The Misanthrope) and Guy Boyd (Sex and Longing).
