Bob and Tobly McSmith, the creators of Friends! The Musical Parody, are set to put their signature satirical twist on another popular American sitcom this fall: The Office! A Musical Parody will debut at The Theater Center in New York City in September.

In the immersive musical show, a documentary TV crew has begun filming the lives of the employees at Scranton’s third largest paper company, Dunder Mifflin.

Songs inspired by The Office will include “Welcome to Diversity Day,” “That's What She Said,” “Goodbye Toby, You're the Worsty,” “The Creed of Creed,” “WUPHF! (There It Is),” “Marry Me, Beasley,” and “Thread Level Mid Afternoon.” Assaf Gleizner is the show's composer.

The Off-Broadway engagement of The Office! A Musical Parody will be produced by Right Angle Entertainment and McSmith Family Entertainment. Tickets will go on sale in June, and a cast and full creative team will be announced at a later date.

Bob and Tobly McSmith are also the creators of Full House! The Musical, Showgirls! The Musical, and Katdashians! The Musical! Their current Off-Broadway hit Friends! The Musical Parody continues to play at St. Luke’s Theatre. The show opened last fall and was originally scheduled to play through the end of 2017 only.
