The January 19 matinee performance of Gloria: A Life has been rescheduled so that the company can attend the 2019 Women's March in New York City. To make up for the missed show, a performance has been added on January 20 at 7 PM.
The mission of the Women’s March is to harness the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change. The march on NYC will kick off January 19 at 10 AM at Foley Square in Manhattan and will continue through 2 PM.
Gloria: A Life will perform as scheduled at 8 PM on January 19 at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
Currently starring Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winner Christine Lahti in the title role, Gloria: A Life celebrates the life and enduring legacy of feminist writer, organizer, and activist Gloria Steinem. The new play is written by Emily Mann and directed by Diane Paulus, and features an all-female creative and producing team of Jenna Segal, Elizabeth Armstrong, Sally Horchow, Janet Kagen, and Alix L.L. Ritchie, led by Tony winner Daryl Roth.
