Squeamish, a psychological horror play written and directed by Aaron Mark, opened Off-Broadway October 15 at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. The new solo play, starring two-time Tony nominee Alison Fraser, follows Mark’s earlier monologue plays: Empanada Loca, which starred Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Another Medea with Tom Hewitt.

Fraser (Gypsy, Falsettos, The Secret Garden) plays a psychoanalyst and long-time recovering alcoholic from the Upper West Side who finds herself in the South Plains of Texas—“off her meds, after her nephew’s suicide.”
