Children of a Lesser God held their first rehearsal before they begin previews on Broadway March 22 at Studio 54. Tony Award-winning director Kenny Leon (A Raisin in the Sun, Fences) directs a cast led by Joshua Jackson (The Affair), Lauren Ridloff (Wonderstruck), and Anthony Edwards (ER).
The production will officially open April 11. Completing the cast are Kecia Lewis, Julee Cerda, Treshelle Edmond, and John McGinty.
Model, actor, and activist Nyle DiMarco, who is making his Broadway debut as a producer, recently joined the previously announced executive producer Tamar Climan, producers Hal Luftig and Craig Haffner, and associate producer Sanford Block on the project.
