Tony Award nominee Melissa Errico returned to Off-Broadway's Irish Rep (where she starred in Finian’s Rainbow in 2016) this summer for a production of Alan Jay Lerner and Burton Lane's 1965 musical On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.
Errico stars as Daisy/Melinda alongside Tony nominee Stephen Bogardus (Bright Star) as Dr. Mark Bruckner and John Cudia (The Phantom of the Opera) as Edward Moncrief.
Helmed by Irish Rep Artistic Director Charlotte Moore, the summer revival began performances June 15 and officially opened June 28. The limited run is scheduled through August 12.Flip through photos of the opening night below:
On a Clear Day You Can See Forever features music direction by John Bell (Fiddler on the Roof), choreography by Barry McNabb (Finian’s Rainbow), orchestrations by Josh Clayton (Donnybrook!), and will be conducted by Gary Adler (Escape to Margaritaville). The production team includes scenic designer James Morgan (Three Small Irish Masterpieces), lighting designer Mary Jo Dondlinger (Finian’s Rainbow), sound designer M. Florian Staab (The Seafarer), and projection designer Ryan Belock. Casting is by Deborah Brown (Our Town).
