The Dear Evan Hansen original Broadway cast recording will be released on vinyl July 21. The album, colored blue and including a digital download, is available for pre-order on Amazon.
The recording includes 13 original songs from the score, featuring music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire—all of whom won Tony Awards for their work on the musical..
After June 11 Tony Awards ceremony, the Dear Evan Hansen album reached number one on the iTunes charts. In addition to Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations, the show won the top prize of Best Musical, awards for its stars Ben Platt and Rachel Bay Jones, and Best Book for Steven Levenson.
