Off-Broadway News Carey Mulligan Returns to the Stage in Girls & Boys at Minetta Lane Dennis Kelly's monologue play kicks off its limited Off-Broadway engagement June 12.

Last seen on Broadway in 2015, Oscar and Tony nominee Carey Mulligan returns to the New York City stage June 12 in the Off-Broadway premiere of Dennis Kelly's monologue play Girls & Boys. The acclaimed production from London’s Royal Court Theatre is playing a limited five-week engagement at the Minetta Lane Theatre produced by Audible.

Girls & Boys, directed by Olivier Award winner Lyndsey Turner (Chimerica, Posh), is about a married woman and mother whose world has taken a disturbing turn. The play debuted in London in February, and will officially open Off-Broadway June 20.

Performances are scheduled through July 15.

The creative team for Girls & Boys includes Es Devlin (set design), Jack Galloway (costume design), Luke Halls (video design), Oliver Fenwick (lighting design), David McSeveney (sound design), and Joseph Alford (movement).

Audible will also record and release Mulligan’s performance of Girls & Boys as an audio play. Pre-orders are available here.
