In the music video above, conceived and directed by Bret Shuford (Paramour), Shuford and fellow Broadway actors Kate Loprest (First Date) and Clinton Roane (The Scottsboro Boys) play three New Yorkers dreaming of better lives. Loprest sings “Just Around the River Bend” from Pocahontas, which merges into “Go The Distance” from Hercules (sung by Roane), which then fuses into Shuford’s rendition of “Out There” from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The video features cinematography and editing by Drue Pennella and Ted Edlam Herod for Pure Motion Pictures. The music was recorded and mixed by Jim Lutz, and the video features costume design by Matthew Solomon.
