Park Avenue Armory's artist in residence, playwright Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (An Octoroon, Gloria, Everybody), will host an intimate afternoon of readings and conversation at the Armory September 23.
Joining Jacobs-Jenkins for Sunday Salon: Literature will be Lucille Lortel Award-winning playwright and actor Jocelyn Bioh (School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play), Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights Lynn Nottage (Sweat) and Suzan-Lori Parks (Topdog/Underdog), and Obie Award winner Aleshea Harris (Is God Is).
The salon will also feature performances by choreographer Raja Feather Kelly (The Feath3r Theory, Ugly), composer Michael R. Jackson (A Strange Loop), and films by performance artist Narcissister.
