Three-time Tony honoree Bernadette Peters, most recently on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly!, will not play a series of U.K. concert engagements that were scheduled to begin June 10 at London’s Lyceum Theatre.
According to a statement from Neil Eckersley Productions Ltd., "We regret to announce that we are unable to present our planned U.K. Tour with multi award-winning actress Bernadette Peters, as a result of Speckulation Entertainment Ltd’s unforeseen inability to fulfill our contractual obligation. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Online bookings will be refunded automatically. Patrons who booked via others methods should contact their point of purchase for a full refund.”
The Broadway favorite was also scheduled to bring her concert act to Usher Hall in Edinburgh June 12, Symphony Hall in Birmingham June 14, The Lowry in Salford June 16, and Milton Keynes Theatre June 18.

Peters won her Tony Awards for her performances in Song & Dance and Annie Get Your Gun. She is also a recipient of the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award and received additional Tony nominations for her work in Gypsy, The Goodbye Girl, Sunday in the Park with George, Mack & Mabel, and On the Town.
