News Barrington Announces Full Casting for The Pirates of Penzance See who's joining Will Swenson, Kyle Dean Massey and Scarlett Strallen in the musical comedy.

Barrington Stage Company has announced full casting for its mainstage production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, revived by Tony-winning director John Rando and Emmy-winning choreographer Joshua Bergasse, the duo behind the most recent Broadway production of On the Town.

Joining the previously announced Will Swenson as The Pirate King, Kyle Dean Massey (Pippin) and Scarlett Strallen (Mary Poppins) will be Jacqueline Petroccia (Sweeney Todd with the New York Philharmonic), Lindsay O’Neil (The Phantom of the Opera national tour) and Alex Gibson. Other previously announced principal cast members include David Garrison (Wicked), Jane Carr (A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder) and Tony winner Phillip Boykin (On The Town).

Performances are scheduled to run July 15-August 13, with an opening night set for July 20.

The ensemble will feature Darius Barnes, Tommy Bracco, Michael Hartung, Samuel Ladd, Melanie Leinbach, Jeanette Minson, Drew Nellessen, Benjamin Rivera, Morgan Rose, Alanna Saunders, Claire Saunders, Eric Stretch and Michael Williams.

The Pirates of Penzance features scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Jess Goldstein, wig design by Leah Loukas, lighting design by Jason Lyons, sound design by Ed Chapman, music direction by Darren R. Cohen and fight choreography by Ryan Winkles. Michael Andrew Rodgers will serve as production stage manager, with Heather Klein as assistant stage manager. Casting is by McCorkle Casting Ltd.
