Broadway News Anastasia Will Audio Live Stream Song from Opening Night A brand-new Ahrens and Flaherty song will be streamed online during the April 24 opening-night performance.

The new Lynn Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical Anastasia, based on their 1997 animated film of the same name, officially opens on Broadway April 24 at the Broadhurst Theatre. The Broadway production features an all-new book by Terrence McNally and nearly 19 new songs. To purchase tickets, click here.

Among the new songs is “In a Crowd of Thousands,” a second act duet for the characters of Anya (Christy Altomare) and Dmitry (Derek Klena). Producers of Anastasia have announced that they will audio live stream the opening-night performance of that song on the show’s official Facebook page. Fans should check out the Anastasia Facebook page after 8:30 PM for information on when the song will be live-streamed.

Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder) directs Anastasia, which features choreography by Peggy Hickey.
