The official trailer for Chicago Shakespeare Theater's U.S. premiere of Six highlights the sextet of performers who bring King Henry VIII’s wives center stage, flipping their Queen's stories' script.
The musical, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, arrived in the U.S. after a hit Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut and London bow.
The Chicago production's cast includes Adrianna Hicks (The Color Purple) as Catherine of Aragon, Abby Mueller (Beautiful) as Jane Seymour, Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Brittney Mack as Anna of Cleves, Samantha Pauly as Katherine Howard, and Anna Uzele (Once On This Island) as Catherine Parr. Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert and Mallory Maedke are the Alternate Queens.Watch the video below.

In Six, the queens of Henry VIII take the mic to reclaim their identities out of the shadow of their infamous spouse, remixing 500 years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of 21st century girl power. The musical is also slated to play Boston's American Repertory Theater in August.
