Ali Ewoldt, currently starring as Christine Daaé in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera, will chart her journey with the classic tale of the masked man March 12 at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
Directed by Alan Muraoka with musical direction by Gary Adler, the 9:30 PM concert will feature special guests Liz Casasola, Joshua Dela Cruz (Aladdin), Rona Figueroa (Miss Saigon, Les Misérables), and Jeremy Stolle (The Phantom of the Opera).
Ewoldt made her professional debut at age 10 in Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit’s Phantom. After attaining a B.A. in psychology from Yale, she performed on Broadway in Les Misérables (Cosette) and The King and I, and played Maria in West Side Story all over the world before returning to the story that began her career as Christine in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.
