Aaron Tveit Makes Long-Awaited #Ham4Ham Appearance | Playbill

News Aaron Tveit Makes Long-Awaited #Ham4Ham Appearance Just announced: Rory O'Malley will take over #Ham4Ham when Lin-Manuel Miranda leaves Hamilton.

It was a busy day June 22 over on the steps of the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda welcomed Grease Live! star Aaron Tveit to the latest in the weekly series of impromptu concerts known as #Ham4Ham.

Miranda also announced that after he leaves the show July 9, Tony nominee Rory O'Malley will take over the #Ham4Ham hosting duties each Wednesday afternoon. O'Malley, who recently took over the role of King George III in Hamilton, sang “Turn It Off,” one of his songs from The Book of Mormon.

He was then joined by Tveit, who sang part of “I'm Alive,” the song he introduced in Next to Normal. He was accompanied by Tony winner Miranda on the tambourine and Tony winner Alex Lacamoire on the melodica.

Finally, this week's #Ham4Ham was recorded as a 360-degree video, which allows you to move the camera's POV around to show both the performers and the audience. The clip (below) cannot be viewed on Safari or Internet Explorer. It works better on Chrome on a device like an iPhone, iPad or Mac.
