Performances began January 8 for Theatre for a New Audience's world-premiere production of About Alice, a new play by Calvin Trillin, inspired by his memoir of the same name. The book paints a portrait of Calvin Trillin's late wife Alice Trillin who died in 2001 from complications due to treatment for lung cancer.
About Alice, directed by Leonard Foglia, is in TFANA's Polonsky Shakespeare Center where it is scheduled to play through February 3. Jeffrey Bean and Carrie Paff star.
