Come From Away creators Irene Sankoff and David Hein will be joined by current Broadway cast members Happy McPartlin, Jim Walton, and Julie Reiber for a March 3 celebration of the musical’s second year on Broadway at the 92nd St. Y.
They will sit down with Playbill’s Ruthie Fierberg for a 7:30 PM discussion and performance that will include “Me and the Sky” and “Stop the World.”
The musical, which explores the lives of a group of stranded travelers whose planes are diverted to Newfoundland during the events of September 11, began Broadway previews February 18, 2017, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The production won the Tony Award for Best Direction (Christopher Ashley).
