West Side Story Flash Mob Invades Streets of NYC

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film West Side Story, DanceOn gathered a group of dancers, including some from the companies of Follies, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Rock of Ages and Wicked and assembled in New York's Times Square on Nov. 11 for a flash mob performance. Choreographer Joshua Bergasse (from NBC's Smash) recreated the iconic Jerome Robbins choreography, and dozens of people gathered to watch the dance unfold (including a notable face or two).
