Seth Rudetsky's pal Marya Grandy (Les Misérables, Closer Than Ever) just so happens to be the daughter of Fred Grandy who played the beloved Gopher on the 1970s and '80s classic TV show "The Love Boat." In studio, she tells one of Seth's favorite stories—as a child, her father brought her on set to meet guest star Ethel Merman. Afterwards, Grandy sings one of her favorite tunes (it was written especially for her by her friend Andrew Byrne) which tells the tale of a mom looking to recapture her rock 'n' roll roots.
