Andy Karl stars as Rocky Balboa, a down-on-his-luck boxer who is given a shot at the world championship in the new musical Rocky. Based on the Academy Award winning (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Film Editing) film written by and starring Sylvester Stallone, the cast features Margo Seibert as Rocky's mild-mannered love interest Adrian and Terence Archie as world champion Apollo Creed. With a score by Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) and Stephen Flaherty (music) and a book by Thomas Meehan and Stallone, the production plays the Winter Garden Theatre. Alex Timbers directs.
