The Encores! concert production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along (to February 19) stars Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) as lyricist Charley Kringas, Colin Donnell (Anything Goes) as songwriter Franklin Shepard, and Celia Keenan-Bolger (...Spelling Bee) as magazine writer Mary Flynn—three friends, once inseparable, who are fractured by the choices made and paths taken. (Good thing the action moves backwards, to their happy beginning!)
