Pam MacKinnon directs
Tracy Letts (author of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning
August: Osage County) and
Amy Morton (Tony Award nominee for
August: Osage County),
Madison Dirks and
Carrie Coon in the 50th anniversary production of Edward Albee's classic
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? When history professor George (Letts) and his wife Martha (Morton) invite new biology professor Nick (Dirks) and his wife Honey (Coon) back to their home for drinks after a faculty function, things quickly heat up as the couples become embroiled in a series of savagely comic verbal "games" which push the limits of their relationships and expose dormant fears and frustrations. The
Steppenwolf Theatre Company production plays Broadway's Booth Theatre.
