The tenth annual
Broadway Backwards brought some of Broadway's brightest stars to the stage of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre to benefit
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. This evening of song — in which women sing roles originally written for men, and vice versa — featured an all-male "Cell Block Tango" from
Chicago, "Let It Go" by hunky classical-meets-pop string quartet Well-Strung,
Tituss Burgess singing from
Dreamgirls and more.
