Inspired by the Oscar-winning film of the same name, the new musical An American in Paris features a book by Craig Lucas and a score comprised of George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin songs ("I Got Rhythm," "'SWonderful,") and orchestral pieces ("Concerto in F," "2nd Prelude"). After a Nov. 22-Dec. 10 world premiere at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the production will arrive on Broadway March 13 at the Palace Theatre.
