In the new musical Something Rotten!, Brian d'Arcy James and John Cariani play the Bottom brothers, a pair of playwrights who are out to trump the genius of their day — the one and only William Shakespeare (played by Christian Borle) — by creating the first musical. The cast (including Heidi Blickenstaff, Brad Oscar, Kate Reinders, Brooks Ashmanskas and Peter Bartlett) took the stage at the Little Shubert Theatre to give a preview of the show's tunes including "I Hate Shakespeare," "Welcome to the Renaissance," "Will Power" and "A Musical."
