MCC Theater has taken up the laborious task of revamping one of Broadway's most notorious flops, the musical Carrie. The troupe recently opened the doors of its Lucille Lortel Theatre on the first day of tech rehearsal for a sneak peek at the revised musical. Derek Klena (as high school jock Tommy Ross) and Christy Altomare (as popular girl Sue Snell) perform "You Shine," one of the new songs added to the show during the last several years of intense workshop in which both the score and book were revised.
