SYNOPSIS: Arch-seducer Mr. Horner hits on the idea of posing as a eunuch in order to gain access to other men's wives. Things go awry when he catches the fancy of Margery Pinchwife, the unsophisticated and jealously guarded new bride of the one man in town who hasn't heard the story of Horner's supposed infirmity. This Restoration comedy casts a shrewdly cynical eye on the transactions that result when love and lust meet in the marketplace of the human heart.
