SYNOPSIS:

Part ghost story. Part murder mystery. Part thriller. This is the tale of Dou Yi, a young widow who is executed for committing murder. Before the sentence is passed, she places a curse on her town: if she is innocent, snow will fall in the middle of the summer and a devastating drought will bring people to their knees. Years later, all hope for salvation rests on a businesswoman and her young daughter. Can they make things right? Will the weather change? Adapted from a 13th century drama from the Yuan Dynasty, this contemporary update by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig is utterly spellbinding.
