Breaking Up Is Hard To Do: The Songs of Neil Sedaka

Regional
Musical Revue
Revival

SYNOPSIS:

This humorous and heartwarming musical celebrates the timeless songwriting magic of the legendary Neil Sedaka, featuring twenty of his most popular songs including “Oh Carol,” “Laughter in the Rain,” “Stupid Cupid” and “Solitaire.” Expect laughter, longing and a whole lotta love!

Flashback to Labor Day weekend 1960! Best friends Marge and Lois hightail it out of Brooklyn for a much-needed vacation at Esther’s Paradise Resort in the Catskills. After a devastating breakup, the girls are looking for romance “where the boys are.” Romance does indeed flourish and in the most unusual of places but is it the kind of love that will end their “lonely nights?” Add in a visitor from American Bandstand who just might be able to help to save the Resort and you’ve got one heck of a story that audiences just love.

Featuring Christine Pedi & Barry Pearl
